Luxury Resume vs Zety: a Zety alternative without an auto-renewing trial
By the Luxury Resume teamUpdated · 4 min readLuxury Resume lets you build your resume and download a PDF for free, with a small footer line, and its paid passes are paid once and never renew. On Zety, the free plan downloads TXT only, and the $1.95 Pro trial auto-renews at $25.95 every 4 weeks after 14 days unless you cancel, as listed on Zety’s pricing page in October 2026.

Questions
Is Luxury Resume affiliated with Zety?
No. Luxury Resume is an independent resume builder. Zety is a trademark of its owner, and the details above come from Zety’s public pricing page in October 2026. Prices can change, so check their site.
When might Zety suit me better?
If you need an editable Word file, Zety’s paid plans include Word downloads; Luxury Resume downloads PDFs only. If you mainly need a PDF and don’t want a subscription, Luxury Resume’s free PDF or a one-time pass is the simpler choice.
Can I move my resume from Zety?
Yes, if you have a PDF or Word copy of it. Upload the file and the editor fills in your sections. A TXT file can’t be imported, but you can copy its text into the editor.
Will Luxury Resume charge me later?
Not unless you choose the monthly plan. The free plan never charges you, and the 7-day and 3-month passes end on their own.
How we compared
We compared the free plan, the cheapest paid option, what happens after it, longer plans and download formats, using each company’s public pricing page on 30 October 2026. We did not compare the quality of templates or writing help, because that depends on taste and on the job. Luxury Resume is our own product, so read this as a comparison of public facts, and check each site before you buy. Zety is a trademark of its owner; we are not affiliated with it.
